1. Definitions & Interpretation

In these terms: “We”, “Us”, and “the Property” refer to Romantic Cabin Escapes and its owners, operators, employees, and contractors. “Guest” or “You” refers to the person who makes the booking and all members of their party. “Booking” means a confirmed reservation for accommodation at the Property. “Accommodation” means the cabin allocated to you for the duration of your stay.

2. Booking & Payment

All bookings are made through our website and payments are processed securely via Stripe. All prices are quoted in Australian dollars and include GST. Upon successful payment, you will receive a booking confirmation by email containing your booking reference, cabin details, check-in and check-out times, and a summary of the amount paid.

3. Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations made 7 or more days before check-in receive a full refund.
  • Cancellations made less than 7 days before check-in forfeit 100% of the booking fee.
  • No-shows (failure to check in without prior notice) are non-refundable.
  • If we cancel your booking for any reason, you will receive a full refund.

4. Check-in & Check-out

Check-in and check-out times are specified in your booking confirmation. Requests for early check-in or late check-out are subject to availability and must be arranged in advance by contacting us. We cannot guarantee early or late access.

5. Occupancy

The maximum number of guests per cabin is 2. The number of guests staying must not exceed the number specified in your booking. Additional guests are not permitted without prior written consent.

6. Property Use & House Rules

You are granted a licence to occupy the Accommodation for the duration of your booking. You must leave the cabin and its contents in the same condition as you found them. The following rules apply at all times:

  • No smoking anywhere on the property, including inside cabins, on verandahs, and in outdoor areas.
  • No parties or events. The property is designed for quiet, relaxing stays.
  • No pets unless prior arrangements have been made with the property owners. Any approved animals must be supervised at all times.
  • No illegal or antisocial activities may be conducted on the property.
  • No alterations may be made to the cabin, its furnishings, or the surrounding grounds.
  • Commercial photography, filming, or drone use requires prior written consent.

We reserve the right to enter the Accommodation at any reasonable time to prevent damage, carry out maintenance, or enforce these terms.

7. Facilities

Your booking includes access to the swimming pool, tennis court, BBQ area, parking, and surrounding grounds. We may close or restrict access to any facility at our discretion due to weather, safety concerns, or maintenance. No refund or compensation is provided for temporary facility closures.

8. Wildlife & Environment

The property is a wildlife refuge situated on 200 acres of natural bushland. Guests must not harass, chase, or feed native wildlife, and must not damage or remove vegetation. Please respect the natural environment and leave no trace of your visit.

9. Children

Children under 14 years of age must be directly supervised by a responsible adult at all times, particularly around the swimming pool, dam, and other water features. Parents and guardians are solely responsible for the safety and behaviour of children in their care.

10. Liability & Indemnity

The property is a rural environment with inherent risks including, but not limited to, uneven terrain, wildlife, water features, and outdoor activities. By staying at the property, you acknowledge these risks and accept responsibility for your own safety and that of your party.

  • You are responsible for any medical, ambulance, or emergency costs incurred during your stay.
  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any injury, illness, death, or loss of or damage to personal property, except where caused by our negligence.
  • You agree to indemnify us against any loss, damage, or expense arising from your breach of these terms or your negligent or unlawful acts.

This clause survives the end of your booking period.

11. Privacy

Personal information collected as part of the booking process is handled in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles. We collect your name, contact details, and payment information solely for the purpose of managing your booking and communicating with you about your stay. CCTV cameras operate in common areas of the property for security purposes.

12. Acceptance

By completing a booking, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions. You also confirm that you are authorised to make the booking on behalf of all members of your party and that all members of your party will comply with these terms.
